Columbus is an architectural treasure with over 250 historically significant buildings and homes. Many homes are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places including the Columbus Carriage House Bed & Breakfast.

There are many ways to enjoy the beautiful architecture. You can book a horse-drawn carriage ride that will take you through the streets of Columbus in a guided architectural tour.  We have Historic Preservation Committee walking tour booklets available at the B&B and you can take a self-guided walking tour.  Or just wander the streets and take in the beautiful homes and businesses.

The Farmers & Merchants Union Bank in downtown Columbus was designed by Louis Sullivan as one of his "jewel box banks".  This is a beautiful example of Sullivan's design and is open for tours during banking hours.
