This room features a small "shaker"porch on the side of the house. When the home was built in 1902, the family had a maid, and she would have shaken rugs and mops out on this porch when cleaning the house.  It's too small to sit on, but if you leave the door open on a summer evening you will hear the trains go through town and feel the breezes.
