Columbus Sleigh Rally  Friday & Saturday, February 5th & 6th

The sleigh rally weekend is fast approaching. hope you can make it! You can purchase a ticket for the whole weekend $85, or attend the events that interest you most, priced separately.

Friday, February 5th Welcome Celebration 6:00 pm - 8:30pm at Kurth Brewery, 701 Park Street. Pizza, cash bar, lots of fun and camaraderie. $20 if purchased separately.


Saturday, February 6th - Driving Clinic by Linda Block. 10:30 - noon.  II Bit Ranch 12350 Tiedt Road, Columbus. Linda will be discussing winter conditioning your horse and she will give a demonstration of lunging and training techniques.  $35 if purchased separately.

Saturday, February 6th - Pottery Demonstration by Joel Huntley 10:00 - noon. 1082 Park Avenue, Columbus. Joel is a nationally renowned folk artist, who is today's foremost maker of traditional aged redware.  Watch Joel throw a pot and discuss his art. Refreshments will be served. FREE

Saturday, February 6th - Sleigh Rally noon - 3:30 pm. II Bit Ranch 12350 Tiedt Road, Columbus. Drivers will be competing in three classes including a Courier and Ives class, Obstacles in the snow and a turnout class. There will be a bon fire blazing, and hot chocolate and food for sale by the Columbus Cardinal Equestrian Team.  This is a very family-friendly event. $10 / person, $25 / family.  

Saturday, February 6th- Art and Appetizers 4:00 - 5:30 pm West James Gallery and Visitor Center, 128 West James Street.  Fabric Artist Kim Bates will be showing her creations along with water artist Kathlene Jahn and a jewelry artist. Refreshments will be served. FREE

Saturday February 6th pm - Coffee, Desserts & Horse-drawn Vehicle Discussion 8:00 - 9:30 pm Colonial Carriage Works 134 North Dickason Blvd. Renown carriage maker, Todd Frey will be discussing horse drawn vehicles and desserts by Mandy Peickert will be served. There will be a unique display of antique sleigh robes from Marti Phillip's collection. $20 if purchases separately.

  • Capri Steak House is offering a free glass of house wine with every entrée
  • Charlie's Grille Haus featuring  an open-faced prime rib sandwich and potato wedgies $9.50
