Porches -
We have large wrap around porches to sit on and relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Porches are a favorite spot for guests when the weather is good. It is fun to sit out and watch the musings of a small Midwestern city. Children wander by on their way to school, folks stop by the post office just down the street to do their daily business.

Music Room -
The music room is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. There is a TV / DVD / VCR. You are welcome to watch movies or TV anytime. When the weather is cold or rainy, this is a great place to regroup and reconnect. There is an early 1900’s upright grand piano available for your use.

Parlor and Library -
Our parlor has a beautiful Italian ceramic fireplace... a wonderful place to curl up with a book on a cold winter evening.

The library area contains a wide selection of books that you are welcome to browse through. In addition we usually have a jigsaw puzzle going on the table in the library. Relax and enjoy.

Halls -

You are stepping back in time when you come to the Columbus Carriage House Bed & Breakfast. All of the woodwork was hand made from first-growth native timber. Craftsmen carved details in the wood and set ornate cut glass windows in the entry way. The workmanship and character of this beautiful home greet you as soon as you walk through the door. There are pocket doors throughout the downstairs area. There is a curved window with a “bullet hole” created in the 1940’s by a young man with a BB gun. He paid the price of his mischief by having to come and cut the grass for a summer.
